2017-2018 Holcomb Fundraising Events
The Holcomb PTA organizes fundraisers throughout the year to support our mission. The following events are scheduled for the coming school year.
Jog-A-Thon - Friday, September 28, 2018
The Jog-A-Thon is Holcomb's largest fundraiser where families, friends and neighbors pledge money to support the students as they jog or walk in the Jog-A-Thon, which takes place during your child’s regular school day. Holcomb students run (or jog, walk, skip, etc.) laps around the school field. Rain or shine this is a fun event to encourage kids to be active.
Our Goal: To raise $13,000 to fund special programs and events such as Teacher & Specialty Classroom Supply Funds, PE Supplies, Family Fun Nights and other programs/events for the year, and general expenses.
UPDATE: As of 10/18/18, Holcomb's Jog-A-Thon has raised $11,632.19. Way to go Holcomb!
Holiday Wreath and Pie Sales
Help support Holcomb PTA! Orders are being filled for Holiday Wreaths and Pies for the upcoming holiday season!
Warm your door with a decorative live wreath locally made and ready to hang as soon as you bring home it! Our vendor gathers the freshest greens from the Pacific Northwest. Starting with a Noble Fir base, we add generous clusters of Berried Juniper, splashes of Incense Cedar, and adorn with Ponderosa Pine cones. A wonderful welcome to greet your holiday guest.
Warm your belly with a gourmet handmade in Oregon pie filled with fresh ingredients, then hand crimped and sealed just like Grandma has done it for years!
Order forms for both will go out to students on Thursday, November 1st. With a due date of Wednesday, November 14th. Pickup for the wreaths will be Thursday, November 29th. Pickup for the pies will be Monday, December 10th.

Holcomb Elementary PTA will be collecting new socks and underwear for the Clackamas County Clothes Closet!!
Read-a-Thon is a fundraiser designed to encourage students to read while raising money for school events, projects and enrichment programs run by Holcomb PTA. Students will record their reading on a Reading Log and collect pledges from family, friends, and businesses that would like to help our students reach their goals.
If additional funds are needed a Spring fundraiser will be organized.
